Tempo is a visually hypnotic performance that explores time; its acceleration, deceleration, distortion and inevitable disappearance. Created by Finnish visual artist Kalle Nio in collaboration with choreographer Fernando Melo and three exceptional dancers, including Slovenian dancer Barbara Kanc, the performance combines dance, illusion, puppetry and visual theatre into a dreamlike meditation on human perception.

In an ever-changing stage world shaped by theatrical tricks, movement and film images, Tempo transforms abstract ideas into surprising visual experiences. Time becomes elastic: moments stretch, repeat, vanish and merge into one another. The performance explores the fragility of memory, the rhythms of modern life and the human desire to preserve fleeting experiences. Rather than a linear narrative, Tempo unfolds as a poetic sequence of visual and choreographic images, where bodies, shadows and objects interact in unexpected ways. The result is a profound theatrical experience that balances precision, playfulness and melancholy.
