Aimed at the very youngest viewers, Scritch Scratch Dip Clapote! is a tender fairy tale that weaves together strong emotions and rich imagination. A Frog named Jerko is afraid of going to sleep; what is that sound—scritch scratch scraww plop—that keeps coming from under his bed? Jerko's father tries to reassure him that there is nothing to be afraid of—until he himself goes to lie in the bed, only to be woken up in the night by the same mysterious sound.

As the children follow the story about the nightly fears of the little frog, they, too, are a little afraid, since they identify with him; together with the frog, they search for the solution and seek solace and in the process resolve their tensions and issues. This way, a play can also become a space where children can "enter" and realise that it's not that bad if you are small and fearful. Stories like this convey an important message to children: fear exists, and no one is immune to being afraid.
