A puppet and multimedia performance about life in communist Czechoslovakia following the Soviet invasion of 1968. Through symbols and visual elements that transcend language barriers, it captures the atmosphere of the period and, through everyday details, reveals the banality and ideology of society during the era of “normalization.”

“It is actually quite charming, especially for those who experienced those times. Dominik Migač and his collaborators present a diorama of socialist life in the 1980s, populated by all kinds of artefacts characteristic of the period: a housing estate, a Karosa bus, a metro station with an unusual name, or an endless queue for bananas outside a shop.” — Vladimír Mikulka for Nadivadlo
